Hi there! Thank you so much for visiting my store. I am so excited to get to share my creations with you to add to your home décor.
I have always enjoyed making all kinds of crafts and it was getting to the point where I was running out of storage for all the things I made so I decided to share (lucky for you).
Why Sunshaft Crafts?
Honestly, my son did a search for 'rhymes with crafts' because I was having a hard time coming up with a business name that was unique and personal. We reviewed the list together and came across the word 'sunshaft'. Not quite sure what a sunshaft was, we looked it up because who doesn't like things having to do with the sun. Come to find out it is a 'sunbeam'. This brought back a memory of when he was younger. While I was driving, he asked me to turn down the radio because God was talking to him, so I did. Ahead of us was a sunbeam (aka sunshaft) shining through the clouds. The scene was so beautiful. After about a minute or two he said 'Ok mommy, God is done talking to me now so you can turn the radio back up.' I was astonished at what he said and it brought me to tears. Good tears that is. I didn't ask what was said nor did he tell. I just thought it was such a special moment and was blessed that he felt he had that type of relationship with God at such a young age.
We both agreed that was a perfect word to have in my business name so Sunshaft Crafts it became. Now every time I say or hear my business' name it brings me a smile and beautiful memory.
